Fashionable clothes for a 10 year old girl - where to buy?

Any suggestions where to buy fashionable and not too expensive clothes for a Y6 10 year old that are not 'hooker style' or just plain awful? She wants to look trendy, but I dont really know where to shop for her age group which is a kind of an 'in between' stage - not a child, but not yet a teenager. All suggestions gratefully accepted!!

I get a lot of clothes for my dds from LaRedoute and Next. La Redoute have always been esp good for price and choice.

I do get things from New Look, Tammy, H&M etc. Some clothes in those shops are nice some are urrgh. I just pick things up as and when I see them and if we like them.

h&m dd1 is 6 and says she ant wait to be old enough to fit the h&m older girls section. lots of pretty but trendy dresses, could wear with chunky boots, thick tights etc, plus lots of basic reasonably priced items.
Zara, new look teen range, matalan, debenhams and primark?

Dd wears jack wills shirts with boden jeans or gap stuff and converse (think preppy) which is always quite classic and non hookerish. If you can get an invite to the jack wills outlet it's really good value and hollister is always appreciated by them but only get if you know someone travelling to the states as is peanuts over there.

My dd1 is just 11 (y6) and she also likes the hooch range at matalan, she got a lovely cream lace dress from there which is very good quality and was less than £20. Luckily she is quite tall so fits in a ladies size 8 or 10 in primark.

I get quite a few things in Zara kids for my dd (she is nearly 7) but my niece who is 11 loves their clothes too. They are quite classic in style but they do have great fun tshirts and dresses.

My DD is 10.6 yo , tall and slim. Alot of the girls fashion for 12-14 yo that she needs for height is too big on the waist.

She likes the womens size 6-8 in Primark (I don't want her being too grown up, so some things I wouldn't buy, but she's quite laid back fashion-wise)

DD is 9 she likes New Look and River Island.
