Chic older ladies

You know those ladies that you see - the older ones who aren't necessarily beauties but you can't take you eyes off them as they are so damn chic? Thinking immaculate white hair closely-cropped, great red lips,cashmere and chunky hammered silver jewellery. Where the hell do they get their bangles n stuff. I want to be one of these ladies when I grow up (am 41). How the hell do they do it?

I think our generation will be cool when we are in our 60s and 70s. When I think of my nan and the older women of today, they grew up in the 50s, so they've always had hair like the Queen, even when they were young.

I imagine myself with a chic white bob, dressed all in black, homemade big chunky jewellery, doing pottery with lots of grandchildren running about my orchard. That's when I'm not lying in the garden of my villa on some Greek isle.
