What colour tights

Teal dress, grey shoes. Do I wear grey tights or teal tights? I'm 5ft5, worry about my legs looking a bit short if that has any bearing on the matter.

Black or "nearly black" that comes up dark grey IMHO

They would be thick opaques. I thought black might make my legs look even shorter given there would be that third colour cut off by shoes at one end, dress at other.

My preference would be grey I suppose - seems less 'out there' than having teal-clad legs!

I think teal would be too 'matching' with a teal dress. Grey ok, if you can fund the right grey colour.

I love grey patterned tights tbh but I'm not that current (aka fortysomething) so don't necessarily take my suggestion if you do mega fashionable

What shade of grey are the shoes? Light, medium or dark? Are they suede, leather or patent? What style are they?

Looking at your shoes, I'd say a very dark charcoal grey would be your best bet.

I would actually say go for a dull yellow but I'm in Scandinavia and coloured tights are very popular.
