What colour with my trousers?

I have a pair of skinny cargoey trousers. In a sort of twill fabric. They are very flattering to my slightly parsnipy legs. Only trouble is finding coloured tops to go with them. They are khakiish, brown/green, but not one or the other. Black is ok, but a bit harsh. I don't massively suit porridgey colours. Any thoughts?

I wear burgundy with my olive trousers.

My friend had a pair of cargoes that colour on yesterday with a raspberry coloured T shirt, looked lovely together.

Burgundy or raspberry might be great. Thanks. Must go shopping.
