are these mutton?

these.am heading for 40, but kind of like them, how would you dress them down to avoid looking muttony? Or should I just steer clear.

I'm 37 and have a similar pair in green . I wear them with ugg biker boots . I don't think I'm mutton. ( quite the opposite ;-) .. I think the plain material will do a few years more than camouflage though.
