The beautiful shoe hunt

I m looking for beautiful shoes - black I think - they are to replace a pair of beautiful black shoes that I adored - I need a high heel as I want them to wear with dresses and skirts for going out and being generally fashionable and stylish
I do not want wedges, and I really don't like platform heeled shoes
Prepared to invest given the right shoe :-)

really appeal to me if the gold band wasn't quite um .. so ...well gold. And I know, they are more ankle boot than shoe.

I think I want something a little more than pumps, yet something that is versatile and classic.
The pigalle is lovely though.

You could design your own at upper street - I don't have the resources to do so sadly but a pal of mine bought a pair from there and adores them. You can customise from a set of base patterns to exactly your own specification, how lovely to have a pair that no-one else does

Thanks brand new but sadly I m not in the uk.
Have the morning tomorrow to go to town and see what I can forage. My previous pair were just lovely. They were bought 4 years ago from a boutique here - I can't remember the brand but Italian I think, difficult to describe, will see if I can pin a photo to link.
