Good value / good quality

Which shops sell clothes that are good value and good quality. I recently bought some tops in Gap and they're terrible quality for the price. Where can I go that sells nice basics that I can bung in the washer and they don't fall apart/ stretch/fade/shrink etc. I have some lovely stuff from Esprit which has lasted well but I don't think you get Esprit in UK?

You can get Espirit in House of Fraser.

esprit.co.uk has the full range. Free delivery, really good quality and reasonable prices.

I think John Lewis sell Esprit

Uniqlo is excellent value IMO, don't think I have ever been disappointed with anything I've bought from them.

I second Uniqlo, I have loads of their stuff and haven't been dissapointed so far.

Esprit is still in the UK. There is a branch in Westfield Stratford, if you can get there. I have also ordered from their website as well.

Yes esprit online is great. And free delivery & returns. I often wonder why it isn't mentioned much on these boards.
