Random question - do charity shops accept returns?!

Bought a pair of jeans today as a complete impulse purchase. Got home, they aren't as great as I thought they were. They were only £8 but still, I don't want them, do you think the shop will take them back?? It was a Princess Alice Hospice shop if that makes a difference. Still have tags on....

Our hospice shop does, it will depend on the policy in place but I would say as long as tags on and with receipt should be fine.

Ahhh, don't take them back. Redonate them. It's a good cause. You gave a hospice £8, but now you want it back?

That's true actually. I'll think of it as a donation... Thanks!

The Sale of Goods Act applies to charity shops in the same way as other shops.

Personally though I'd just redonate.
