OohFritzi the Iro jacket is superb. It would be structured enough for me too. Love!
My family is mesmerized with the big buttons of the Goat cardigan. DH calls them satellite dishes and the 2-y-o keeps repeating 'gigantic buttons' (pronouncing the big word is a big task for her). If I get tired of the attention, I'll replace them. Working mostly at home, I need clothes that are a bit dressed up (I never get anything done in pajamas), but a suit jacket would be too much. Jersey/knit jackets are a good compromise.
Shop I love everything watermelon but have started to think that I'm not really a scarf person. I have a full drawer of scarves, but mainly wear two, my smoke blue Missoni and a gray / pink Lily & Lionel that goes with my down jacket. I like clean lines in clothing and most scarves are designed to blur and soften. That said, I saw a very stylish Italian woman today wearing head-to-toe black head, the sole exception being a soft cornflower blue monochromatic wool scarf that softly framed her face.
Fritzi I've been reading a lot, have just not wanted to bore people with it, plus also have started reading more in Italian. Right now I have a superb wine book on my nightstand - Great Wine Made Simple by Andrea Immer Robinson. It's a bare basics book, but I think it's the missing piece for me. I've always drunk wine and I've toured countless vineyards from Mendoza to Moldova (not to mention enjoying wine from Long Island and the most horrific sparkling wines known to man in Southern Brazil), but I've never gone through the basics. About time.
I think a neutral bag is the big thing right now. Amber loves her Rocco; I wear my taupe Miss Dior (you can't get more structured than that) everywhere. Hope you'll find the right one. I think MBMJ have some unstructured soft bigger bags that look good and don't break the bank, but am not an expert.
Need to check the J Crew sale, Emo thanks for the code.
