Any Mulberry experts out there?

I'm thinking of getting a classic mulberry bag for myself. I love the Congo leather, especially in chocolate. I like the look of the Cher. Does anyone know roughly how old a Cher bag would be? I'm guessing late 90's as the lining is the black rather than the older tartan, but I can't find any info when I google.

There's a forum called the purse forum with boards dedicated to Mulberry. They have archives of all the styles etc. I would really recommend a look there.
