Best bra brand?

xmasevebundle · 17/10/2012 13:14

After i have had DS i am going to invest in some 'good' bras.

I normally buy them from primark and buy loads at a time(works out quite a lot if i think about it)

I have no idea about bra brands!

Would love opinions about brands and how nice they fit/last/price

TIA Grin

Pirate, or Sorrel, or any Fantasie experts, do you know how the sizing on their esme moulded comes up? I don't have anything of theirs at the moment as they didn't used to have anything except their monstrous full cup in a 30H/HH but I notice they seem to have extended the range in the 30 back.

SorrelForbes · 17/10/2012 21:51

I don't own any Fantasie bras at the moment so can't help I'm afraid. Would be interested to know how that bra fits though.

Very proud! I got into (another) bra size chat at aerobics this morning and have promised to help measure someone at yoga tomorrow Blush

I have the Esme and it's my usual Freya or Fantasie size. It's not moulded though like Figleaves claims and in all honesty not very pretty, kind of flattening and separating.

StatisticallyChallenged · 17/10/2012 22:07

I'll take a rain check then Hazle - I could do with an actual moulded and the Freya Deco is a little small on me. I can get away with it under low cut stuff (where the neckline conceals the hint of quadra) but not under anything which isn't plunging.

The best moulded bra I've found so far is by Debenhams Gorgeous. I think it's this one m.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_150010563886_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7ELingerie%7EDD%2B+bras

Too small for me Sorrel :(

I think I might give the Curvy Kate Smoothie a go at some point as it goes up to a J.

SorrelForbes · 17/10/2012 22:22

Ah, shame. I tried this panache bra today. Bloody awful. Cut into my boobs half way up and gaped everywhere.

StatisticallyChallenged · 17/10/2012 22:44

I just wish panache and my boobs liked each other, they do some beautiful things

this is beautiful

SorrelForbes · 17/10/2012 22:45

Very nice but too plungey for me. I like another on that page though.

HazleNutt · 18/10/2012 08:11

Statistically, Fantasie moulded comes in 30H, have you tried this? I have this in a cup size down from my Deco, so might work for you. Check Bravissimo under t-shirt bras, sorry can't link, blocked at work as "provocative attire". Confused

MorrisZapp · 18/10/2012 09:03

The Panache superbra is a fab fit on me! I'm buying it up in every colour I can find on eBay

You will not stay the same size after breastfeeding. You will go back to your previous size but because the skin has been stretched, you might feel that your breasts say more than before. There might be some lucky people out there that have had a different experience, but for most mums that's the case...

TCD77 · 14/01/2018 19:20

I meant sag, not say Grin

My actual size is 27G, but since I can't find that anywhere I have to wear a 28FF. So I can't shop in a lot of rl stores unless I want to go up to a 30 band which is just too loose even on the tightest hook.
