Tommy sizing

I'm interested in a skirt from Hilfiger but really unsure of the sizing charts.

It says models wear a size 28 waist, but there is no '28' on the sizing chart, just UK10, and US8, etc.

Anyone know if they run large/small/true?

Cheers..

I find they tend to run large (would usually be a UK 8-10, but tend to buy a size equivalent smaller for Hilfiger).

Thanks! They're a US brand aren't they? US equivalents often run a bit large. Wish they'd sort the sizing descriptions out though!

I know - a global standard would be lovely!

Definitely on the large side!

Any ideas what they mean by 'the model wears a 28 waist' - if the sizing is in standard 10, 12, etc?

OK - took a bit of digging but have finally located their European size guide. Think a 28" waist equates to a 10 based on the cm measurements they give, but might be worth re-checking as my conversion skills are not the greatest...
