Going out tonight, does this go?

I'm going out with my DH tonight, meeting some friends for a drink then something to eat. Will a dark purple dress go with lighter purple boots or is it too match?

Also skinny leopard print Asos belt?

Failing that, similar dress in navy blue and black boots, safer but more boring? Thanks for any opinions! I am short and curvy and 40+.

Link to boots doesn't work for me but it doesn't sound a workable combination from your description tbh. I would say that dress needs either black or brown boots or shoes.

And a black fitted blazer style jacket, so not too purple.

Hmm, not as light a purple as I had imagined so they could work but I would be concerned about it looking too matchy-matchy.

Yes I have put it on to see, not as matchy as I thought. Dh says I look lovely but he's like a broken record.
