What shoes to commute in??

any suggestions of what shoes to walk to station (in cold/wet weather) that are not boots or trainers, will look smart and not fall apart easily?!!

Far too used to cheap and cheerful flats which bring the whole outfit down.

Thanks.

Can you do ankle/shoe boots? I bought some with a midheel (not mum boots!) and they're really comfy to walk in.

Ooh maybe?

Where did you find them?

Was thinking more nice and lasting flats?

Brogues?

Sketchers Go Walk. Magnificent pair of shoes. I have the pink ones but black is probably more appropriate www.schuh.co.uk/womens-black-skechers-go-walk/1913997070/

Wear boots and change into shoes when you get to work

Trainers. Then into heels in the office. It's the only way.

I am loathe to show off my low-end shoe buying habits, but these are the boots I have:

I actually found them comfier than flats.

Hideous but v comfy bouncy flat clarks shoes, or trainers, putting knee joints and speed above style!

Have lovely shoes in drawer at work.

Fitflops are doing pumps this season. Might suit?
