Monsoon silk tops

I found what I thought was a bargain in a charity shop, 2 monsoon tops for 8.98.

When I arrived home I read on the label that it is dry clean only and silk.

Any chance of getting away with washing it in the washing machine on delicates? Or handwash?

My machine has a silk setting, use appropriate detergent and they might be fine

I have an old silk top from monsoon that I have washed occasionally on my delicates cycle and hung up promptly after. Some of the embellishments are starting to unravel/come away now.

I'm a proffesnial Wink.. They will be fine as long as you use liquid silk detergent and wash on silk setting . Do not use normal detergent as it contains bleach and will dry it out . Remove promptly and cool iron . They will cost you around £6. To d/ clean .
