Hello all,

does anybody know where I could get some thick wool tights preferably grey ones and/or patterned?

I was after a pair of the boden ones but have left it too late and they have all sold out!

thanks x

White Stuff have some grey patterned ones
John Lewis always a good bet

I have just ordered some Autograph merino wool tights that I have seen recommended on here, they come in charcoal. £9.50. Or Falke do lovely wool tights, £29!

Autograph merino tights. I have them in black, charcoal and brown. Beautifully warm and hold their shape well.

Wish they did them in berry or teal.

Thanks ladies,

I've just been on the white stuff website and ordered a pair. Will also check out m and s tomorrow

Bit late or me to add this as you have already ordered, but I found the autograph merino ones a bit big...and also they pull really easily.

I got some falke striggings half price from house of Fraser. They are lovely, but when you get them out of the pack they look like they will come up to your neck. I guess that is just because they are proper knitted and don't have as much stretch in them! I worried until I put them on. For £16 they are a million times better than the autograph ones that were £9.50

I am wearing my new Autograph merino wool tights today, not quite as delighted with them as I was hoping. They are a tiny bit shiny, and also you can see slight horizontal lines in them, especially areas where they are stretched a bit, like heels, calves, thighs.

But where else to buy? I only found cotton in JL, for £8, and I bought a pair but they are like school tights. I want plain, not cable or patterned. Falke wool tights are £29, I would expect great things for that price, anyone tried them? I have a cotton pair and like those a lot.

Falke tights- yes I bought some last week. They are lovely- blissful to wear. For those who care, they have a real gusset so no nasty hard seam, and the waistband is wider than the Autograph and J Lewis brand(Have those as well.)
They are very warm but be warned that the grey on the JL website is almost black - it's really dark charcoal.

Did you get Falke Merino wool ones? Where did you buy them?
