so, today i was supposed to be catching up on a pile of work. but i started Christmas shopping online, and of course now im ending up buying clothes for myself as well....

my dilemma is jeans... i am looking at a pair of bench jeans boyfriend style, www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/EN3565

or bootcut darker style www.bench.co.uk/women/denim/acoustic-dark-rinse

bear in mind im 30 if that makes any difference.... i am not finding skinny jeans very comfortable, and i don't know what is going to be most in style now.

I prefer the bootcut.

I'm not convinced that there is an "in" style any more as you see all styles of jeans walking around these days. Skinny jeans still seem to predominate among the young and for anyone over 30 it seems that anything goes. Just buy what suits you best.

I agree with Bunbaker - buy what suits you best and feel comfortable in. I am over 30 and have given up trying to be trendy. I find Levis fit me best and last longer.

both tend to suit me - anything apart from skinnies - im an apple shape though does anyone know any brands that are better for apples? its been so long ive bought a pair, i would like a better quality brand that will last me

Sorry, I'm a pear and to me most jeans seem to be made for apples. Finding jeans for pears is much harder. So I would avoid Per Una as I bought a pair of slim straight jeans the other day that actually fit and don't gape at the waist.

i think its a good plan to avoid buying online ... its so tempting, but when i think of how many i try on in the shops that don't fit, it would be such a hassle to have to send them back when i get them home and they don't fit. back to the drawing board!
