Something to keep eyeshadow in place

My mum keeps harping on about an Estee Lauder cream that she used to buy about 20 years ago that she applied to her eyelids before putting her eyeshadow, and it used to keep the eyeshadow in place and intensify the colour, and made it look good all day.

What is such a product called, even if it isn't by Estee Lauder? And can anyone recommend one please?

I use Urban Decay primer potion, it's awesome.

Double check Estee lauder too though they may have re-branded it as a primer.

But I have to say after recommendations on here and elsewhere the Urban Decay one has been fab!

Two faced faced shadow insurance works well for me, its a small tube costs about £7 but use a tiny amount over and under the eyelid and it holds all my eye makeup in place all day.
