Black ankle boots

I'd like a pair of black ankle boots, but I can't find the right pair.

I like these, although they're possibly slightly too casual / buckley.

I also like these, although they might have the same problem.

Mostly, I'd like to be comfortable and cosy .

waiting, the western boots are seriously lovely. I'll pine after them now, even though they're not exactly what I'm looking for. I already have nice cowboy boots, maybe I should wear them more?

I second the M & S limited collection ones Angryfeet has linked, bought them Friday and lived in them all weekend, lovely boots and a bargain!
