Got setting lotion form Wilkinson (£1 for 150 ml). How to use it?

The instructions are different to what I was told on a setting lotion thread here which I can't find. On the bottle is says to put it on your damp hair (I got a spray bottle) and then wait till it dries and only then style it in a usual way. I think they actually say 'brush it'. Soooo, what to do?

Even though you ignored me you stuck up moos, I'll tell you that unfortunately it wasn't that great. It could have been that I did my hair and then went to sleep after taking the rollers out.

Hog you couldn't be more wrong!!! There was recently this huge thread about setting lotions but I couldn't find it again (maybe it was in Chat?). They are having a revival - great to keep your licks or waves intact all day.

I pour a little bit into the palm of my hand and then spread it through my hair until I've done all of it. Two palmfulls usually does me.

When I put it in a spray bottle it didnt work for me at all.
