Timberland Rudston boots sizing

I took delivery of these today. Love the colour and style and crucially that they are waterproof! However they do feel a little tight. They don't do half sizes and not sure if a whole size up would make them too big and less snug around the calf. Does anyone else have these and how did they find the sizing / did they give a little after a few wears?

I bought my usual size, and found them unwearable. I then ordered the size up and found them too big so I went into the store and bought the half size - perfect.

I think the larger size be difficult to walk in, but you could use an insole. They also looked a little out of proportion to my legs. I found the toe area too small with my normal size and didn't think that bit would "give" but the calf bit was same on all boots.

Thanks Mewsical. Think will size up and get some insoles. Can't seem to find them in a size 5.5
