Sizing for posh stuff (like Calvin Klein etc)

It's just occurred to me that they might come up really small. Does anyone know?

I rather impetuously bought a CK coat from TKMaxx last night, it's in a 10, and was the only one, but I'm thinking it might not fit after all.

I've never had anything this posh so I have no idea what the sizing is like! It will probably go back anyway as was ££ Blush

Oh crikey, think it's a UK 10, but still...I'm normally a 10 or sometimes a 12 in coats, mind you I got a wax jacket from the same place and it was an 8 and still fits.

Bizarre.
Nothing for it but wait and see - the reason I went for it was it was reduced from £680 to 149 - and it's cashmere - and for some reason it just seemed to be the right thing to do!

But it's an awful lot for a coat so it will have to fit AND be super nice, to be worth it.

I am UK 10-12 and wear US 6 or IT 44 in CK.

My CK pencil skirt is true to size, possibly a little big. So it could be perfect!

Well it came yesterday and it does fit - perfectly, but though it is a lovely coat, it's not really 'me'. It'd be better for someone who is glamorous!

I think it's going back. If anyone wants it let me know!

Oh I have tried to find it on google, believe me! But it's not there - and TKM take down the page as soon as it is sold out, which it was as there was only one of it.

It's really frustrating. I have lost my camera atm but if it turns up I could take a photo.

The fabric is lovely - very very soft, like a soft old sheep Grin but I would get it dirty and not be able to clean it, and it's so light as well - I only ever wear dark gloomy things.

Bit like this but in a light creamy colour. And the pockets have no flaps, they are just horizontal slits iykwim.
