Colour analysis - what colours do you think I'll be given?

I'm really keen to try colour analysis, but am worried I won't like the colours. I'm mousey blonde with blue eyes and pinkish skin tone - will I be given pastels? I live in black so this would be such an extreme for me.
Has anyone else had their colours done and hated them?

maybe a spring. you can google and it will show you the colours. bright blue, pink, green. not black. but you could still wear that at the bottom or with a scarf. not wishy washy pastels - bright and clear, not dull.

Supposedly only Winters can wear black, (i'm a winter - death pale skin, dark eyes and hair) and you don't sound like a winter. But you can still wear it if you like it, you might just find it's better not right next to your face, or with a coloured scarf added.

I had mine done at HoC and it was v fun, you probably will want to wear 'your' colours afterwards as they will make you look so great!

Although black is only 'allowed' for winters, I think that you can get away with it pre 40, or at least I thought I could. Post 40 I don't like my reflection in the mirror wearing black, I feel drained. Navy is my best friend but I would have laughed at anyone telling me that 10 years ago.

I had it done 20+ yrs ago and it changed my life - clothes wise!

You know all those clothes you love but never wear? you put them on to go out and then think "no..... not this one today" but you love the look of them on the hanger... they are probably not your colour! I had a gorgeous silk outfit that I never seemed to find the right occasion for - actually it was totally the wrong colour for me. I am a winter, so contrast is my friend there are pastels I can wear, but certain tones not others - you do just get to know which are your colours and which to avoid.

I was told the key thing is that people should say "you're looking well" not "that's a lovely outfit" - because the outfit should be making YOU look good. I do find now that when people comment on my clothes I'm wearing something that is not quite right (even if it's a lovely outfit)

I was done as part of a group and I was really shocked to see how easy it was to tell which of the colour ranges were right for each other person - I don't think you can see it on yourself as easily - but I was totally convinced.

I think I'm just afraid of wearing colour as its so different from my current wardrobe, but I would like to try.
I just found this site www.thechicfashionista.com/summer-color-analysis.html and think I'm a cool summer, but probably need to go to a consultant - which is best company? I've heard of House of Colour but there are no consultants near me.

You will be Summer and hate it at first. I did. But then I found my brights and they were a revelation - cool neutrals too.

As others have said, whatever you come out as, you will hopefully see yourself looking so fab in your best colours that you won't want to wear any others. I found I had to resist the urge to bin all my 'wrong' clothes as soon as I got back from my first consultation!

Also, you're allowed to simply not like some of the colours in your palette - I'm an autumn and largely ignore the gold/mustard/yellow end of my palette, because I'm not mad keen on the colours.

Thanks for your replies, just realised that the colours I do have often fit in that summer pallet - grey, mauves, blues and baby pink, I probably need help working out how to wear colour and still feel like me.
