Leopard print coat

Yes I know Bet Lynch etc etc But I want one.

Now my online searching has narrowed it down to this zara one or this oasis one

Now the zara one is a great shape for me but its not fur - will that make it look strange?

I like the look of the oasis one but I don't know - perhaps its just too cheap looking.

So has anyone seen any amazing leopard print coats on their travels or have you seen the zara or oasis ones in the flesh?

Thanks

I like the look of this one

mirpuppet · 25/09/2012 20:40

Not seen either on quick look like Oasis better.

JuliaFlyte · 25/09/2012 20:42

I have also had my eye on this one

MrsCampbellBlack · 25/09/2012 20:43

Oh that Biba one looks promising.

I'm going proper shopping on Friday so will add HOF to my list.

Mir - I did like the oasis one when I saw it in the press but on site it just looks not so good. But that could be their photography/styling.

How did I know this was going to be your thread?!!Grin The only one I like is the Zara coat.

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/09/2012 06:12

Yes I'm leaning towards the zara - think I like the fact its not fur so its not quite so ummm brassy looking.

You don't like the jaime one at whistles? Not fitted enough?

HoopDePoop · 26/09/2012 10:36

I think you have to be careful with collarless - it always looks frumpy on me. If you have big norks it's a no from me to the Zara one.

And I'm not a fan of twee Peter Pan collars

monkeysmama · 26/09/2012 11:06

25% off at HoF from this evening.

I like the Zara one.

QueenBeebread · 26/09/2012 11:13

Are you sure you're after a coat not a jacket?

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/09/2012 11:17

Oh I like collar-less - have a couple of zara coats in very similar style and don't think they're frumpy.

I also like peter pan collars so can deduce that Hoop and I are style opposites Wink

Oh the malene one is just gorgeous but too much £££.

Did see one in new look but lordy - it was pure Bet with a dash of Liz MacDonald too.

Actually if I were choosing a leopard jacket with pots of cash and I could get over the fur thing, it'd be this one.

CaroleService · 26/09/2012 11:58

I think the fact that the Zara one is not faux fur will make it classier, actually.

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/09/2012 12:01

Oh Queen - I love Marant - if I had £££ I'd buy loads of it.

Carole - I think you're right.

Faustina - I think the whistles one is too shapeless for me but I love the Elise.

Definately the Zara one. I saw it in the flesh yesterday and it is very nice, quite understated actually. Agree with Carole too.

CaroleService · 30/09/2012 12:21

Miu Miu have a gorgeous one ....
