Stupid question BUT where do short people buy yoga pants/ joggers etc?

I am 5foot 2. I have little legs. It's not that unusual.

But I have just flicked through the epic that is the sports direct catalogue. Nowhere could I find anything for shorties.

I just want some yoga pants/ joggers for yoga/ Pilates lazing about but I don't really want to hack 3 inches off the bottom either. Hmm

I'm clearly looking in the wrong place! Blush

Dull answer but M&S is the place to go, they do different leg lengths.

Mumelie · 24/09/2012 21:26

Next? They do petite and lots of sports wear

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 24/09/2012 21:30

Sainsburys do some petite plain leggings - 2 pairs for £10 - not sure if thats what you're after?

ceeveebee · 24/09/2012 21:30

Sweaty Betty but they are ££££

KurriKurri · 24/09/2012 22:10

I am also 5'2" - I get my yoga pants in TK Maxx - they usually have a good selection.

SpudtheScarecrow · 24/09/2012 22:15

I buy the biggest kids/teen size sometimes, usually something like a 13/14

cocolepew · 24/09/2012 22:20

M&S, their short length would suit.

LaFataTurchina · 24/09/2012 22:38

I second buying a child's age 13. There's probably loads of sporty stuff about atm as children have just gone back to school.

BookFairy · 24/09/2012 22:41

I'm 5'0 and buy cropped yoga pants in tk maxx as petite length on the high street is still miles too long! At least in tk maxx you can buy items from specialist yoga/pilates companies Smile

A plain hem for turning up at home is a major factor in my even thinking about buying a pair of trousers. No point paying for the bells and whistles on the bottom of the legs if you have to cut them off...

dinkystinky · 25/09/2012 11:36

If you're v petite you can get stuff from older kids ranges (that's what my 4 ft 11 friend does)! I'm 5 ft 4 and tend to go for 3/4 lengths from M&S or Sweaty Betty or She active.

Tamoo · 25/09/2012 11:37

I'm not short so can't comment on that aspect but TK Maxx has a huge variety of sports/activewear brands, I'm sure you'd find something (they stock every length you could want, too).

mejon · 25/09/2012 11:40

M&S short are usually fine on me - I'm the same height with a 27in inside leg. They've got some wideish-leg cotton and lycra yoga pant thingys for around £10. I have two pairs. I also have some sports pants with go faster stripes down the side that I bought several years ago and they're just the right length. I dispair at shops where a 30in is considered 'short' or 'petite'.

wonkylegs · 25/09/2012 11:55

Boringly from M&S, new look and next - all do shorter leg lengths.
(I'm 4'11" and most of that's not in my legs)
Occasionally get stuff from Debenhams or local independent shop
