Can you help me accessorise this dress (or tell me to take it back!)

Hi,

I'm a jeans (wide or bootleg) and teeshirt Mum, and black trousers and shirt worker. I've been invited to a smart casual dinner with work to celebrate too many years at work.
Its in a fairly posh hotel, but I live in a place where posh isn't very posh, iyswim?

I've got blue eyes, brown hair, typical english rose complexion size 14 with a waist, boobs and a mummy tummy.

I bought this earlier today.

Does it meet the requirements? And if so, what to I do re legs, shoes, jewellery etc? If not, what do you suggest?

If you've got through all that, well done. Any comments gratefully received.

Lovely dress. I have a similar one in the same colour and also find it hard to accessorise. I do my default of black,opaques and heels but I'm sure others would shudder at the thought of that! I personally would leave the neck bare but have a big bracelet/ cuff on. Have fun

And black or silver shoes (heals?? Or can I wear flats?). Don't think I'll buy red shoes just for this do! Might wear black or silver again!
And what on my legs? Bare? Nude tights? Black tights? Those black patterned tights I've seen about?

Gorgeous dress, I'd go with silver jewelery, black tights-sheer/seemed/fishnets and high black patent closed/peep toe shoes. Smoky eyes and neutral lip gloss.
No jewelery would be fine but take a nice bag/pashmina. Flat shoes wouldn't do it justice.
