Christ... Some things should have stayed in the 80's!

DolomitesDonkey · 24/09/2012 17:09

Oh that reminds me, must phone mother.

VivaLeBeaver · 24/09/2012 17:09

I've seen someone wearing that first one!

headfairy · 24/09/2012 17:11

Jeepers. Some people have more money than sense!

BunnyLebowski · 24/09/2012 17:11

The reviews of the black one are pretty funny Grin

"Never seen anything so lovely." Hmm

"Value for money got 1 for myself and 1 for my daughter" Shock

I presume they are not made in the larger sizes

daisydoodoo · 24/09/2012 17:13

Dd who is 6 had a coat similar to number 2 last autumn it was from h&m. Who knew 5yr olds were trendsetters!

madammecholet · 24/09/2012 17:42

Perfect examples of a catwalk trend totally fecked up by the high street....Grin

DonaAna · 24/09/2012 18:22

Yep, #2-alikes featured in Oct Vogue's More Dash Than Cash. Very difficult to think it would look good on anyone. DD2 (2-y-o) has a jacket like that too.

crazybutterflylady · 24/09/2012 18:30

Wow.
20% off at debenhams at the mo with DM20... For those who also think it is funky and a great bargain Hmm

Fangolina · 24/09/2012 18:52

Bloody hell ...they are woeful Shock

Pancakeflipper · 24/09/2012 18:54

Oh I cannot wait to see mother and daughter wandering down the high street in their matching coats...

MarshaBrady · 24/09/2012 18:55

The second is a designer rip off, a bad one.

The first. I'm not sure what this is!

TheLightPassenger · 24/09/2012 18:57

I like the actual japanese flower pattern on the debenhams one, just a shame that it's on a puffa jacket, not a silk blouse/shift

susiedaisy · 24/09/2012 18:58

That reminds me I must give my grandmother back the old duvet cover she lent me!!

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 24/09/2012 18:59

I'm scared.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 24/09/2012 19:01

Ow, my eyes!

LaFataTurchina · 24/09/2012 19:02

Uhm, I actually quite like both of them :D

I would never buy either of them mind, because they are not very versatile at all, plus the novelty would run out after a few wears.

However, if I saw either of them in a charity shop for a fiver I'd be tempted to get a pair to wear with with jeans!

MarshaBrady · 24/09/2012 19:04

I like the floral on black that is in atm. But not keen on the puffa version.

FairPhyllis · 24/09/2012 19:12

I have learned from past experience that it is rarely a good sign when something is described as "unique" or "funky".

MoomieAndFreddie · 24/09/2012 19:18

Urgh.

well they are joe browns, say no more....

YouSexyBeauty · 24/09/2012 19:19

They are worthy of Bianca from Eastenders. Put one on and you'll not be able to stop bellowing 'Riccckaaay'.

HappyHippyChick · 24/09/2012 19:20

I get the feelin even the Debenhams people think it's awful.

" Maybe wear it with a scarf, jeans... and bags of self-confidence!" Sub text "hold your head up high as many people will be laughing and pointing at you!"

ChablisLover · 24/09/2012 19:34

I have lost my sight at those coats!

Am now blinded to decent style and taste!

FellatioNelson · 24/09/2012 19:37

Good lord. They remind me of some very ill-advised NafNaf flowery dungarees I used to wear, circa 1990. That's one of the few things that is good about getting older. You manage to stop dressing like a total arse.
