Hair dye help

I think it's got to the stage when I really can't put off dyeing my hair any longer. It's blonde with a lot of bright white (definitely not grey) hair appearing. It's quite obvious in daylight, better indoors! I don't really want to change the colour and just want something subtle to cover up the white. Is there such a thing as a dye that will only dye the white hair?

What sort of blonde is it? I.e. dark blonde or very light blonde. You should be able to get away with decent highlight foils in a couple of colours, maybe a nice golden colour with a lighter colour. That way some of the white will blend. Many brown haired ladies end up going blonde to avoid the badger stripes!
