Highlights - before or after holiday?

I just bought a Groupon voucher to have half a head of highlights done, which runs out in December. Haven't had my hair highlighted in years. We're going on holiday in a month, and I'm wondering if it's wise to have them done before we go, or should I wait till afterwards? Just thinking about the effect of sun and chlorine.

Anyone?

After - made the mistake of having highlights before a 2 week holiday in Greece and my hair went yellow and frizzy.

I'd wait until you come back. Like you've said, the sun and chlorine may alter the original colour.
