Which of these mum boots would be best with skinny jeans?

Can't decide between these from topshop and these from miss selfridge.
Which would look better? its my first foray into this kind of boot! They're to wear with skinny jeans, mostly black and khaki ones. I have tried both on today and want to go back and buy some on Saturday. Advise from boot experts please!

I like the Miss Selfridge ones. Also I was looking at the Topshop ones today and one of the boots had already started to come apart. Didn't look like they would last for long.

well when i tried them on I realised that the topshop ones are nubuck and so would scuff easily whereas the miss selfridge ones were leather and just felt (and are) more expensive, just wondered about the whole cowboy feel of them and if that's a step too far.
