Right am off to big shopping centre tomorrow and would like to come home with perfect:

  • Winter boots - flat/low heel, ankle, preferably brown/tan. Must be good for walking in and waterproof for school run
  • Winter coat - no idea what I want but again needs to be good for wet walks to school. Size 18 probably as only 5 weeks post baby
  • Nice wintery jumper/tops

Any recommendations from the high street? There are most shops there incl John Lewis and Debenhams.

Can I just say, if you can, get to an outlet centre?

I have just bought THE most fabulous winter down jacket from Ralph Lauren and it cost me £50! They had the same style in XL too, which would fit a size 18. They had black, cream and khaki.

Then found another down jacket and bought that too. Having big boobs I usually find trouble getting one coat, but I came back with two. Blush

I am telling myself that these are classic jackets for years to come.

If you are a size 18 and want knee boots, have you tried Duo online? Their quality is really good.

They had some lovely lambswool cable knit sweaters in a nice choice of colours, plus some easy to wear long sleeve tees.

Definitely worth checking out.

Will definitely check out RL then. Hate my post pregnancy body - 2 pregnancies back to back and 2 c-sections in less than 12 months has left me with a horrible tummy so am hoping so new flattering clothes will help!
