and need a dress! Suggestions please...must be cool, but bear in mind i am 39, not 25Grin.

So far i am looking at

this
this one
or this but slightly worried about the necessity of no bra!

£350 is top end of budget really but cheaper would be better. I should be ok with shoes/bags i already have.

how about these

Sleepwhenidie · 26/09/2012 11:42

Thanks for the compliments Smile

Newmum, i will look out for PG and be sure to pass your message on Grin

Thanks curtsey..not sure about the chunky heel on those, I prefer slim heels.

Do you think these would work? Also available in black.

Like those sandals river island have similar much cheaper that I also like...

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/09/2012 11:49

Lordy - you look amazing - that dress is just wow on you! Better than on the model by far.

But looking back at the model - I quite like that style of shoe - have you looked in zara as they have some fab shoes in at the moment.

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/09/2012 11:52

these

love these but perhaps too much for the dress

I think I'd go for understated barely there sandals so as not to detract from how fab you look in the dress

LouBolla · 26/09/2012 11:56

Wow! You look amazing. Agree that simple footwear is the way forward.

The dress is gorgeous on you - what a figure!

I love the really simple sandal from Zara that MrsCB suggested

Have fun!

worldgonecrazy · 26/09/2012 13:30

I like the boots, but not those boots. I think you need something higher. However, you may feel more comfortable in shoes - some fab wedges with a lot going on heel wise, but fairly simple on the top part, maybe with a hint of greek goddess about them to echo the dress.

regnamechange · 26/09/2012 13:45

Not keen on the nude shoes love the look with black boots. Gorgeous!

squoosh · 26/09/2012 14:12

Dress is stunning on you!

Spamspamspam · 26/09/2012 14:46

Dress is stunning but none of your shoes work - think you know that now though :) I like the silver ones you linked but like the Zara ones even more - very understated but also very high!!

QueenBeebread · 26/09/2012 15:51

Ooh I love a good frock thread. You look FABULOUS. I'm inclined towards the boots actually - the look is very now - but those aren't quite right.

I don't know what your shoes budget is, but The Outnet is pretty good for skyscraper heels. For example:

Herve Leger
Camilla Skovgaard
Alaia
Stuart Weitzman

QueenBeebread · 26/09/2012 15:53

Just seen Mrs CB's links. Love the studs.

Sleepwhenidie · 26/09/2012 22:04

Thanks everyone. Obviously I need to sort out some different shoes, but Queenbee, there is no shoe budget Grin!

Think maybe I should ebay the nude shoes, jimmy choos, only worn twice so should get a good price, then look around...confused now between statemenht ones ( herve leger nice queen) or understated, thanks for zara suggestion mrs cb Smile, will try those on first as reasonably priced, could avoid ebay if they work.
