I have seen capes in the shops...are they in for A/W

I'm kicking myself because I saw a lovely grey and black cape on QVC online and I dithered and it sold out.

So, today I saw some capes with hoods (faux fur trimmed round the hood and arms). I wouldn't go for that particular style, but maybe one more like a heavy 'wrap'.

So would I look lush or would I look like Nerys Hughes in The District Nurse?

I'm hoping that they will be fashionable enough for me not to look like a loon, but not so much that I look like a fashion victim. I thought it would be a solution to my pregnancy and post-natal coat problems. So thats a thumbs up from me. I'm making my own though.
