I have got masses of curly hair.

It would look ridiculous short.

So I am keeping it long.

I'm 43 and have just grew my hair over the last 9 months. I had short hair for ages but fancied a change. It's chin length now I was going to grow it to my shoulders, but will probably layer it a bit. It's dyed dark brown and is lovely and glossy

I think you need to be more aware of your colour as your get older. Continuely putting a dark dye in it can make it too dark and flat looking. I always use some highlights if it's looking too dark. I have black eyebrows and dark brown eyes so can still get away with it atm.

I am the wrong side of 40 and my mum tells me I am still a young woman:)

My hair is long and very thick and wavy naturally. Couldn't think of cutting it off! That would be like hitting 50, chucking all my clothes and underwear out and replacing it with trews and sensible tops/ shoes, big pants and getting a perm or a blue rinse. Maybe I'll go mad and have both:)

34! You make me feel old:)

Im 33 and I have longish thick hair. It was quite long up till about 6 months ago when DD1 kindly gave us nits and the nitty gritty just wasn't getting through my mound of hair so I cut it shoulder length. Its not grown that much since, but I would like it longer (about bra length would be acceptable for me)

A few years ago at work I was saying how thick my hair was (every hairdresser always comments on it) and I got the comment of that it will be nice when Im older and have it short. Like it was fact that when you get to a certain age you have your hair short. I dont think so, why should I? I look horrendous with short hair.
