I have a pair that are size 28 waist slight curve slim leg and fit great.

so i order the same waist size in skinny but in demi curve (made a mistake) and they were really tight at the front of the waist and gaping at the back.

so now i dont know what size to get !

same size in bold or same size in slight ?

a different waist size ?

cant get to the shop and need some jeans asap !

oh I just bought a pair of these! I bought waist 28 bold curve and they're the first pair of jeans that don't slip down on me.... really pleased with them.

I would order what fitted you the first time round!! slight curve.

can you link to wear you're buying them from? littlewoods only have straight leg ones.

i ordered from Levis , the slim leg pair i got from John Lewis but they dont do skinnys .

yeah i'm having the same problem. I found one pair of bold curve skinnies but they are navy. I might get them though.

LizLemon007 · 18/09/2012 17:41

actually i want these

dexter73 · 18/09/2012 17:43

When I went to the store I found that there was a lot of variation in size and length between colours in the same style. It is a bit annoying if you can't get to a store and are trying to buy online.

LizLemon007 · 18/09/2012 17:49

I just had a look on that site at the slight curve skinnies and they have loads of them, black, burgundy, normal, so Levis definitely do make them obviously!

i am after the dark blue ones aswell. its not too bad that the returns were free but im not sure slight curve are going to fit any better than the demi curve , maybe i need a size up. if they werent so expensive i would order a few pairs to try.

The different types of curve "slight", "demi", "bold" are all different cuts, so they will fit differently as they're designed to fit different shapes. If you got the slight curve before and they were perfect, that's what you need this time as that's the right cut for your body shape. So, I think that means you need the 28 slight curve skinnies Smile

LizLemon007 · 18/09/2012 18:11

Well, I have a pair of bold curve straight jeans and they're ok, but what I really wanted was skinnies, so I'm assuming that bold curve skinnies will fit me perfectly!? why would they not Confused. i'm gonna buy those navy denim bold curve skinnies. jusssst as soon as I've paid my credit card bill Blush. hitting hte plastic this month. this time of year always hits my wallet hard.

dexter73 · 18/09/2012 18:27

I don't know what the difference between each fit is anyway. I was measured as a bold curve, got demi curve in the straight fit and slight curve in the skinnies - it was all a bit random!

LizLemon007 · 18/09/2012 18:31

I didn't think i'd be a bold curve because I have 28-9" waist and 39" hips which means that I'm not the classic 70% waist to hips ratio.

My waist is more like 75% of my hips. So I would have thought I'd be demi curve as I'm not athletic either.

Confused

oh well. I haven't been measured in a shop, i just did the online thing and it came out as bold.

suburbandweller · 19/09/2012 09:30

LizLemon, you should indeed go for the bold curve skinnies if you already have bold curve straight and they fit well (my comment before was to the OP). That should mean that the bold curve will always be the best fit for you no matter what style you go for (disclaimer, I have no idea if Levis have crazy sizing issues from one style to the next!)
