Going shopping this weekend and other than Next and New Look can I please have some recommendations on high street stores that stock tall women's clothing?

I was really hoping you d get some replies to give me some inspiration too! Sorry there havent been any! I give up on Long Tall Sally and Tall Girls! My only recommendations if you are looking for trousers, try the long length ones from Asda and Sainsbury. I ve got several pairs there now, all around 12 pounds which are brilliant length on me (6ft) the inside leg seam must be 35 " if that helps at all! I usually take a tape measure with me. Sorry its not more exciting than that!

Dare I whisper M&S if your after work trousers?

I've also found DP do quite long stuff, but it doesn't fit now!

How long are you looking for? 33-34 usually does me, but then I never wear heals

The Uniqlo cords are long enough on me (33-34" inside leg). Primark long jeans are also long enough.

Ah I thought this thread died! Thank you ladies for saving it from thread limbo Grin

next I am also looking for 33-34 and never wear heels and I -whisper voice-love M&S for some things already.

Thanks Dorothy, I always say I am going to try Asda after I found out about the great bum jeans but haven't yet. I will definitely try their.

Next don't stock 'Tall' in store, I think New Look were stopping it too Angry

TopShop does have a selection of their Tall Range in store as does DP - although for some reason, the store in Newcastle has spread the Tall Clothes with all the others so I find it a bother searching for stuff.

Apparently Zara's trews are quite long, although I haven't tried them.

With a 33/34" inside leg you might get away with 'Long' rather than 'Tall' clothes, which makes me Envy

I am constantly moaning about the selection of clothes available in shops for Tall women - i KNOW I can buy from in the internet, but that's not always possible.

AgathaFusty · 20/09/2012 13:43

Northumberlandlass - I agree with your internet comment - it isn't always convenient or possible. So annoying too, when most shops appear to stock petite or shorter length. I'm sure there are as many women looking for tall as short.

When I asked in a big new look (meadowhall) they told me they had stopped carrying the tall range in stores. You can order it to the store but obviously need to plan ahead. I find a lot of premium jeans come up very long - I have Paige and 7fam jeans that are a great length. Also I think Hudson tend to be long. It's worth visiting house of Fraser/selfridges/John Lewis to try jeans.

I have 34" inside leg. Zara trousers are more than long enough, as are Mango. Topshop do a Tall range. True Religion for jeans (pricey, but lovely fit).
