What boots?

I really need some advice on what boots to buy.

I'm looking for calf length, i think. I have thin feet & calves, so need laces, and prefer flats. Something like the DM Triumphs.

They have to work at work, and for everyday - but my work allows for casual wear.

I usually live in jeans, woolly tights etc. Looking through my clothes there is lots of grey, french navy/navy/ and khaki / browns (I had not realised how boring!) I don't wear black.

Would appreciate your help on 2 points:

Any recommendations for a lovely pair of boots less than £150?

What colour should I get to go with as many of my clothes as possible?

These come in black or brown. I think either colour would go with your clothes. What is it about the DM's that makes them unsuitable?

Why don't you just go for the dm triumphs? I wear mine all the time, with every piece of clothing I own including dresses! I also wear for work. I have the purple ones, I quite like the grey or the cherry red.

Thanks - I tried the Dm's but don't think shop had laced them properly so they felt quite loose on my feet. But I do really like them & think i will get.

But please tell me what colour? (unable to decide & can only afford 1 )

It was the purple I tried, they were yummy, but would they look awful with all my blue clothes?

Or do i need to buy new clothes?

I think purple would go well with blue clothes.

I think purple as well! They also come with proper laces not just the ribbons which can feel a little strange. I wear mine with the ribbons!
