Hi has anyone seen some nice walking boots but ones that aren't fur lined etc as I get very hot and live in London which never gets that cold. Thanks

Do you mean actual walking boots? I've got very wide feet (bunions) so after getting a job I treated myself to a new pair of Alt-Berg boots which are fantastic. But they are full-on walking boots, not day-to-day boot wear?

I guess boots for tramping around the park and maybe doing the odd long walk in.

I have

Fly Boots - dry days in work or shopping
Dune Boots - wet/dry in work or shopping
Dr Martens (various types) - dry/wet days in work, shopping, walking the dog on a hard surface
Merrell Boots (Prevoz) - dry/wet/cold days, used in work, shopping, dog walking on and off road
Sketcher Boots (knee high, fur lined) - dry/wet/cold days, used shopping, dog walking on road
New Balance (proper walking boots) used to walk the dogs anywhere
Muck Boots - dog walking off road (field, woods) and beach
Nora Wellies - a Max PU pair for dog walking off road (field, woods) and beach
Nora Wellies - Dolomite - as above but better in really muddy conditions

Blush I do have other boots as well perhaps DH is right and I have a boot fetish

joan, if you have wide feet New Balance are great because they come in normal and wide unlike most brands

Just remembered, I also have a pair of Ecco GoreTex walking boots which might be the kind of thing the OP wants, they are waterproof, light and very comfortable

Would you think about a trainer type? Merrell do some nice ones that are Gortex lined, and usually in okay colours like brown, black and grey.
