What would you buy from Denmark? I have a France list (who hasn't?) and I know Germany was done recently, but what can I buy from Denmark in a beauty context???

You can buy a bottle of those genes that makes them so freakishly attractive.

Failing that there's ko denmark or Ole Henriksen.

no idea
whatever it is it'll probably be cheaper in the UK

MrsSnow · 15/09/2012 20:53

Without a doubt the UK is tons cheaper, but I'll be there and I must buy something!

Thanks for the ideas Smile

I remember lots of fab shoe shops in Copenhagen; also wonderful porcelain if you are into nice things for the house. Also very pared down Christmas decs. Back to style, got some really nice clothes for my daughter, department stores carry lots of scandi designers.

There's lots of good Danish brands. I would def get jewellery from Pilgrim and some autumn wear from Noa Noa and Jackpot.

My impressions of Denmark - delicious pastry and biscuits, lovely to walk around, feeling like a Pygmy among freakishly tall Danes, hard core porn at kiddie eye level in newsagents. Don't know if that helps?

DH came back from there a couple of weeks ago and said he felt short...he is 6 foot 2 so no doubt I will feel like a midget!

Send him to Tokyo to redress the balance. He'll feel giant like again.

Like Danish high street fashion. Jackpot, Vila etc okay but can be found online.
To buy while there: Ilse Jacobsen or Danefae rainwear.
Downtown Cph great for browsing / street style and boutique spotting.
A friend used the personal shopper service at a big department store there and came back looking incredibly stylish (sales personnel speak English)
Copenhagen airport has good shops.
Love Georg Jensen.

Not really S&B, but Guld chocolate bars are lovely and worth bringing back in bulk and also Bla Cirkel coffee

EdMcDunnough · 16/09/2012 08:10

I'd just try to bring home a husband Smile

Forget the clothes

What's on your France list op? I live here and am still baffled by the pharmacies Blush
