I tried on some Real Straight jeans today but the 34 was ridiculously long and the 32 was also too long, I'm not particularly short but I was walking on the hem of the jeans quite a bit. I think I'm around 168cms tall, so about 5'5 / 5'6 - should I take the risk and order the 'ankle' length online or is it acceptable to fold up the hems of jeans, not in the summery type look but enough so I'm not walking on the hem? I suspect even with heels I'd be dragging denim on the ground in the 32 length!
It is frustrating that their sizes online dont match the instore sizing. Instore I was a 34 waist... so a size 16 I guess... is that the US14???? I tried the 34 and 32 lengths, both of which were too long, I saw there was a 30 length in other sizes so I assume this is the 'ankle' length they refer to online??!! The blurb online says Real Straight are low rise but I'm sure the instore info said they were mid rise, no way this mummy tummy can stand up to a low rise these days!!!
I usually wear jeans with ballet flats, tall boots or sketchers (not trainer types) on a frump day.
Or should I try River Island, I've heard they have a good fit for slightly curvier figures.
Or really should I just buy the 30 Day Shred and work on losing a few more inches before buying new jeans!!!
God I hate shopping, it was so much easier when I didnt care about how I looked
