Hair dye question, anyone?

I've got dyed light brown hair and wanted to add a bit of warmth to it without going any lighter/darker. I've bought a castings creme gloss semi perm hair dye in a golden blonde colour (level 8). Will it add warmth and shine without changing the colour? I've done a strand test but hard to tell

8.3 is a golden light brown, it'll give warmth and shine, but can't guarantee it won't change the darkness/ lightness , u can buy dyes that only last 6 washes- like a toner, no peroxide - that wouldn't alter the darkness, good luck

It won't go any lighter as it's a semi-permanent.

It may go darker, it may be warmer. Or (judging by the strand test) it probably won't do much if anything.
