Oslo Merrell waterproof boots

Hello,

Does anyone have these boots? I'm thinking I'd like them to keep my feet warm this winter.

Can I ask how about sizing? Are they true to size? I am a size 5 converse if that helps? Would it be advisable to buy a 5 UK or maybe go up a size?

Thanks in advance

I have them in the light brown - they are VERY warm - so I can only wear them when its a bit chilly. The ties on the back come undone all the time which is annoying. But otherwise they are great! True to size I think.

Oooh, I ended up with a free pair of these years ago after a MN thread! Lovely and warm and waterproof, and actually they were a size smaller than my usual size, on the advice of the shop who sent them to me. I still have them though they're a bit ragged now and I concur with the ties business. I even considered stitching them together but never got round to it. But fab winter boots though...

Yes, mine are slightly large I think. Normally 5.5 and got 5.5 but they are a smidge big. The fluffy lining flattens down after a while. The ties also come undone on mine!

Great boots, some good deals at the mo too.

I have these too. I usually wear a 5 and they are true to size. I wear mine all the time, but spend a lot of time dog walking or standing at the side of a rugby/football field so needed something warm.I agree with the tie thing
I love mine. Have had them over a year now and they are still totally waterproof and look great, I've had a lot of compliments on them

I have some and I wore them non stop last winter. I often wear mine without socks as the lining is so furry and soft.
I retired the laces and have had no probs since. I love them!

WiseKneeHair · 14/09/2012 23:09

Just bought a pair from sports direct for £75. Smile
Haven't worn them out yet but they seem true to size.
Just need a warm coat, then I'm set for DS1's football season

( already have the hat, gloves and flask of coffee)

Thermal undies?

Oslo boots are def skinny jeans territory though. No boot cut allowed.

marthamydear · 14/09/2012 23:25

Thanks ladies, I'll go for size 5 then!

Wisekneehair - thanks for the tip. Great price! They are £90 for brown, but still a great price.

Looking forward to having toasty toes this winter x

Great boots! I got mine from the Field and Trek website. Black £75 and brown £90 at the moment. Looking forward to colder weather so I can fish them out again, as they are VERY warm ...

fruitcorner · 15/09/2012 08:13

These look great , are they ok in the snow?

notjustamummythankyou · 15/09/2012 10:57

They're brilliant! And non slip soles so no slipping. They were my saviour last winter when pregnant and the size of a house.

Howshouldibehave · 31/10/2021 16:46

@marthamydear I know this is a really old post but I was wondering if you bought these boots and what the sizing was like?!

marthamydear · 31/10/2021 20:13

Zombie Thread.

I didn't get them in the end and I don't think they sell them any more. I can't believe this tread is 9 years old!

I think I got uggly buggly boots instead. They are very warm and nubuck biker boots.
