In public with rollers?

Do you think it's acceptable to pick up ds from school with rollers in my hair?!

I have a red crochet hairnet covering most of it (although obviously you can still see shape of the rollers) and a great big roller at the front. I'm wearing a vintage dress so hoping I can get away with it?!

My hairdryer broke so want to wait until their dry, it would be a shame to take them out before my hairs dry for the sake of a 5 minute pick up.

DS will either think it's funny or be completely humilated, either way he'll get over it.

It's Friday, so yes. If you are off somewhere glam this evening, have fun. If not, pretend!

Definitely go - it would have made my day to see someone in rollers with a crocheted hairnet at the school gates!

Very retro - back to the 60s (though a nylon scarf would have been de rigeur then)

I saw someone doing this at drop off one morning. Massive pink rollers. I did a double take but actually it looked quite cool

I got really excited when we went to Liverpool earlier in the year and I saw 2 people with curlers in!

I'm afraid I'm not off anywhere glam, just trying out my vintage hair styling set.

Don't feel entirely comfortable with double takes but will use confident striding to let everyone know I'm perfectly aware of what I'm doing. In fact, I hope everyone else will actually feel a little silly for not having their hair in rollers.
