Anyone seen the green dress in M+S with the wee squirrels on it?

Yay or nay?

I'm 43 but can pass for 10 years younger (on a good day). Would I look like a mad old bat in it? The colouirs are great for me though!

LINK?
(likes squirrels - also almost 43)

This?

I like the print but would be concerned about the length. I say this as a 41 year old who bought a very cool dachshund print dress last year in a similar silhouette (but full length sleeves) from New Look (as recommended in Vogue Wink ). I loved it but the second time I wore it had to accept that had it have only been a few inches longer it would have looked so much cooler.

HipHopOpotomus · 14/09/2012 14:07

I agree - add a foot to the length and it would be really nice. But far too short for me.

littlebluechair · 14/09/2012 14:27

I think I agree - print good, but a tad short.

UnnamedFemaleProtagonist · 14/09/2012 14:29

Too old for me. I'm 37.

derekthehamster · 14/09/2012 14:29

I like it, but I'd wear it as a tunic and not a dress.

Jazzicatz · 14/09/2012 14:34

I would wear it and I am nearly 40. The question is how are your legs?

Sabriel · 14/09/2012 14:40

It says the model is 5ft 9, so on me it would probably be knee-length Grin

StuckInTheFensAwayFromHome · 14/09/2012 14:56

ooh I was checking out M&S for a tunic type dress as going to Cheshire Oaks on Tuesday and I'd made a mental note to go find that one!!! Although think I prefer the clover leaf print here but want to try both on...

It would be too short for me on its own - but that's my personal reasons - I don't have the personality (or thighs!) to carry it off.
But if you have the confidence, great legs and right footwear then why not...

PretzelTime · 14/09/2012 15:18

I say yay. How can you say no to wee squirrels.
Was just looking at this one actually, what does MN think?

That's cute, but sold out.

Frontpaw · 14/09/2012 20:55

Ok, so - want it now. All the little kiddies in the nursery will go crazy when I pop in won't they? Now where's my furry hat...

I tried the M&S one on and it didn't do my figure justice, evn the kids agreed, bit shapeless for my size 12 hourglass, so love the print though!

cheaperthantherapy · 14/09/2012 22:19

Yes - I have it and love it!! I'm 32 and was worried it looked too old initially but with a skinny belt and the right shoes I adore it. V comfy and perfect for my post baby body at moment. Quite short though so looks best with tights I think :)

juneau · 15/09/2012 09:53

I much prefer Pretzels version - the M&S one is too short for me.

Frontpaw · 15/09/2012 16:05

I like they People Tree site. Why was I not alerted to this before?
