Pistol-a-likes

Having not listened to advice that it's a false economy to buy cheap I bought a pair or pistol-a-likes in a sand colour from New Look in the summer. They looked great, I've only really started to wear them since it got more autumnal and now they have died (well the zip has). So now I need to buy some more because I'm missing them although I think that black might be more practical.

I know people are saying that they are 'everywhere' but which ones have got the MN thumbs up?

Suburban Style had a great blog with a whole host of them a few weeks back.

Topshop Mightys. £45 and should last the season - don't see the point of spending £300 on boots which regardless of quality, I'm unlikely to want to wear this time next year. Sorry Acne, but thanks for the design Thanks

Mum boots, you say? try Next.

Bugger Orf Sloe Grin I wouldn't be seen dead in Mum boots. Top Shop Mightys look good - I agree with you Hoop it's not worth spending £350 on a pair of boot that won't be 'on trend' next season even if I were mad enough to.

Don't worry, they aren't mum boots if you spend £350 on them Wink
