Shoes/accessories to go with a taupe dress?

I've bought this dress
but have no idea what colour shoes/accessories would go with it. I've been directed here for help, so please HELP! I would be most grateful.
Oh, it's for a wedding. I am so out of touch with fashion these days it's untrue.

But that dress isn't taupe!

I've got a dress in that sort of colour, and wore it for a wedding this year with a bright violet cardigan and pair of violet studded suede heels. Oh, and gold oversized clutch very 2005. Tbh I'm pregnant so could probably get away with some odd outfit choices anyway, but it seemed to work and lots of people told me I looked good. I choose to believe them

You're lucky because you can wear nearly any bright colour with that.

You're right, the colour on the photo isn't spot on but it is definitely more of a grey than taupe. It's a real relief you like the dress, it took me ages to decide and the price is great too.

Loving the idea of turquoise and violet; bright colours would definitely make it more wedding-y.

Those are lovely (and a gorgeous colour) - but, sadly, I'm even more demanding scrambled! Non-peep toe if possible . . . I'd really like a fitted grey dress with three quarter length sleeves and a v-neck if you're on the case too!

Red always looks great for a colour pop (I believe that's what they call it nowadays)

Bit more glam if poss FauxFox - not that I ever do anything glam, but I live in hope . . . below knee, maybe ruched a bit in the old belly department (just like me), don't mind flashing a bit of cleavage, but bingo wings need covered.
