Just found the Best EVER foundation!

im referring to illamaqua skin base available online or in department stores. I'm really fair and usually the lightest shade is a close match but most of the ones I've used before, the tones just don't match my skin...come in skin base...PERFECT shade AND tone!! It's not too heavy, great coverage and I just love love love!

Just wanted to share

It is good, I think the colour range is excellent, especially for the pasty-faced amongst us (me) and I like the coverage. I'm still loving the YSL Teint Touché Éclat though, I think it's better for the more mature lady (me) or people who want sheer coverage (me again).

The whole range is excellent (shhhh don't tell anyone bit they are better trained and better products and better priced than mac) I work in cosmetics and it's who we all love

I love skin base, Illamasqua is amazing and Mac doesn't even compare.

The Illamasqua foundation without primer though (the one before skin base) hates my skin though, it makes me look scaley and you have to spend a long time applying it to get it right because of the thickness. Amazing coverage though, I just don't have the patience.

I haven't tried it or seen it! Where do they sell it? (Not in UK often so don't laugh if it's somewhere like boots.)

I LOVE the YSL foundation MsArse. Absolutely fantastic stuff. I think it may be my perfect foundation - sheer but just enough coverage to give me perfect skin without it looking like a mask.

Selfridges, fenwicks, some debenhams sell it. You can buy online aswell.

I love Ilamasqua too. Using the Teint Touché Éclat at the moment which is perfect for me but I do like their eye make up.

Sigh. Tried mine and promptly went out and bought some - her exact words were ' I think it might be the perfect foundation' and between us we've tried a LOT of foundations.

I have quite a few Illamasqua products, wasn't wild about the liquid eyeliner pen but I'm pretty impressed with everything else, especially a very pretty nude iridescent pigment.
