I got this yesterday and I luffs it.

FunnyLittleFrog · 14/09/2012 17:07

I have the H&M coat and love it. I paid full price though. Envy

Might get it another colour for £17!

MarianForrester · 14/09/2012 21:49

Hello, what's the sizing on the H &M coat like, please?

I struggle with sizes at moment as have lost weight, but don't want it too small and H&M sizes bit unpredictable, I think.

Mumelie · 14/09/2012 22:00

The one I ordered from TK Maxx came today, it's a keeper Grin

Millie1 · 14/09/2012 22:11

This arrived today and I think it's a keeper - lovely shape on, waterproof, warm (but its not a really really heavy coat) - ticks all the boxes for me. Need to have a proper try-on tomorrow in daylight though. Meantime, the shapeless, boxy but very cosy Barbour Redesdale can go back!!

GobblersKnob · 14/09/2012 22:40

MarianForrester I tend to size up in H&M, often by quite a lot, their stretchy jersey basics, vests and tees and things I buy in a L which is an 18-20, (I am a 12 Grin)

However the coat I got in a 12 and it is perfect.

MarianForrester · 14/09/2012 23:23

Thank you! Yes, I have t shirt tops in medium and large, hard to tell- but comforting to know that you need a large for a twelve!

I shall order the 14 with more confidence now, cheers Smile

What happened to the coats you bought last year and the year before that etc?

This winter i will be mostly wearing, my 18 year old biker jacket with a hoodie underneath.

Callmecordelia · 15/09/2012 10:16

Wow. Sounds lovely SunWukong. Did you put your judgey pants on as well?

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 15/09/2012 10:19

Hahaha you're funny sun not

Erm I just fancy a new coat, sorry if that's not ok with you.

You didn't answer the question the wording of the thread sounds like you buy one every year, so what happened to the one you got last year?

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 15/09/2012 10:23

The wording doesn't sound like I buy a new one.

What's it to you if I buy a new every year? You're not paying for it.

It's a waste of money and the planet's resources if you do, walks off.

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 15/09/2012 10:28

Cheerio.

laugh's at the thought that i could fit in a coat i wore 18 years ago considering i'm 23!! the coat i had bought 2 years ago just isn't waterproof enough for school run every day / walking to work and back and my one before that was bought at 14 so is not particularly suitable anymore!! we don't have much money to spare as have 2 young dc which is why i need a new coat that doesn't cost much but will (hopefully) last a couple of years at least!!!

greedygoose · 15/09/2012 11:33

i am likeying that H&M one.....I really want a red coat this winter so am going to keep on looking!

SugarBatty · 15/09/2012 20:19
