Fur lined parka - yay or nay?

Considering this coat in a petite size (I am 5'2). What do we make of this? I like a funky coat, rather than a more structured one. This seems really plush with the fur lining too. ALthough I do have a down filled puffa from Gap which is lovely for the colder months so will this be surplus to requirements?

Saw a mango one in a magazine that looked nice too, in navy and green.

I've seen that in the shop and it looks very warm. Quite heavy though.

hhmmm......I think I need a more lightweight one then, as I already have a warm and heavy coat. I do still love the look of it though.
Any suggestions for a lighter coat for autumn? I lighter parka maybe? I have an old RI parka which has lost the drawstring and isn't waterproof at all.

Suggestions for a proper waterproof parka would be much appreciated! Has to be short or petite sized though as I'm a short size 8.
