Long legs & flat bum, which jeans?

Oh, a muffin top too.
I have one lovely pair (Earl) but they are my going out best jeans.

Any recommendations for average daily life jeans?

Skinnies don't really flatter.
I'm size 10-12 with 34" leg.

Have you looked at Nudie jeans? I have the same shape and love them. The high kais hold muffin in too Grin

Otherwise I rate Zara denim for long legs. Their superpower jeans are brilliant but maybe too skinny.

Same size and specs: 7FAM (from Yoox, Brandalley or other discounters).
Look for the 34" leg, mid rise or high rise styles, (29" waist). Wear them almost daily, a pair lasts forever: my oldest pair is 10 years old and still in use.

I got a pair of straight-legged (long) size 10 jeans from Asda which give me a bum, hold in my muffin-top and have been commented on. Only about £12, but it was last year!

Oh, I'm getting jeans excitement.
Monkeys, where do you buy Nudies? I did a quick search but could only find mens.
Donna, oddly I tried 7FAM a couple of years ago & they were fab but this year they seemed shorter..odd.
Tilly, our local Asda doesn't do jeans :(

Flares, Bootcuts or staightlegs?

Thanks everyone

MAS, 7FAM have at least 3 different lengths - 30", 32", 34". This summer was all about cropped jeans, so make sure you will not get shorter length by accident.

Flares are very current, but do not look good on everyone - they require structuring to balance the outfit (check here for ideas). I wear my bootcuts a lot these days because they flatter my frame. Straight legs are perennially chic. I would order / try on many different pairs and choose the best one.

Revolveclothing.com and DonnaIda are good for designer denim but expensive unless it's sales time. You might also want to this to avoid the mum jean/long butt look and other common pitfalls.

DonaAna · 12/09/2012 13:29

Sorry, link here (how to avoid the mum look).

So funny...the mumbum.
The girl in the shop that flogged me the over priced Earl jeans said it was all in the pocket placement & I thought it was just her sales pitch.

Trouble is, with a flat bum & low pockets I run the risk of having pockets on the backs of my thighs.

Off to look at Revolve, thanks

DonaAna that link is brilliant! I'm enlightened and entertained in a one-er!
